I'm back in London for just over a day. I have a couple job interviews lined up, plus I'm visiting my GP. The job in Scotland is OK. I guess hte first couple of days of any job is so boring. Yesterday, however, I was able to get stuck into the work. It's easy work. The hardest thing about the job is being away from home and being away from everything I'm so used to.
I returned home yesterday evening to a spotless apartment, clean dog and gourmet meal. Everything was in it's right place, to paraphrase Radiohead. Even though I'm glad to be home, something here feels different and I can't quite put my finger on it.
