The Link Between Sleep and Horniness

Generally, I'm not a morning person. Usually when I wake up I'm incredibly groggy. I have to hit the snooze button about four times before I get out of bed. Maybe this means I need to get more sleep? I admit that mid week I am probably somewhat sleep deprived.

On the weekends, things are different. On the weekends I'll get nine or ten hours sleep. And when I wake up then, I find myself incredibly horny. Or after I wake up from a good nap, I'm really horny. This got me thinking that there must be a correlation between sleep and being horny? Maybe it has to do with melatonin?

Are there any sleep experts out there that can expand upon this theory?

Try eating cheese before you sleep, I hear it can affect your dreams ;-)

If you take care of your body, it will work properly. Following deep and restful sleep, everything functions effectively, including the horn button!

Apparently guys waking up horny is due to the rather unsexy cause of built up bladder pressure pressing against the internal workings of the penis and testes, not sure what the female version is due to though!
